Vegan wax food wrap, a great reusable eco alternative to plastic wrap!
100% organic cotton and natural, sustainable, non-toxic vegan wax (FDA approved and certified biodegradable). The 100% natural food-grade wax is a by-product from the food industry that would otherwise be discharged.
This high-quality wrap is odourless and has no smell unlike beeswax wraps, so will not taint the smell of your food. To use, simply warm the wrap with the heat of your hands to mould and seal around your food, bowl, plate etc.
Caring for your wrap: Simply wash with mild washing up liquid or soap in cold or lukewarm water, allowing it to dry naturally before using again. Store your wrap in a drawer or on the counter, we recommend rolling it to reduce the creases. With love and care your wrap will last at least a year.
Natural, reusable, breathable and compostable food wrap. At the end of it’s life, you can cut it up to compost, or use as a firelighter.
Not suitable for the dishwasher, microwave oven, direct heat or high temperatures. Allow food to cool slightly before covering and avoid placing hot food directly on your wrap. Keep away from all sources of heat and open flame. We don’t recommended using your wrap with pineapples due to the enzyme in it or with raw meat or fish as it can’t be washed at a high temperature.
The packaging is also 100% recyclable, biodegradable and compostable. Also available in other sizes and designs.
